Perhaps they are poor in part because they lack the very basics. It would be hard to succeed at work when you kept getting sick from drinking bad water.

everybody can be helped if the right policy is chosen.There is no need to be selective.There is no need that anyone starves from hunger or thirst.Also,the rich countries should help the poor countries also,not just themselves.

i understand your frustration. coming from a developing country, i can say misappropriation of funds is commong in poor countries where the people who manage to get in power are more occupied in getting their hands full than giving back to the nation. what i'm saying is, when you never had enough, you'll try to get as much as you can whenever the chance arises.
