The guy with the maracas was a member of Culture Club (Boy George's band). The others who appear in the video are Phil Collins, Paul Young, Jody Watley, Bono, & some or all of the members of the bands Boomtown Rats, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Heaven 17, Bananarama, Kool & The Gang, and Status Quo.& all of you who are, for some reason, so proud & insistant that this was "totally a British thing"? NEWS FLASH: Kool & The Gang is from New Jersey. :)

far better than americas version..the bit that gets me is when bono sings "well tonight thank god its them instead of you" that bit really gets you..then after that it really hits home..but who is still listening after all these years..i know i am xx feed the world
