RedxThorat...Canada is not a communist state, canada has peace and freedom because it adopted a consitiuion similar to that of Britain.And no so far in history there has not been a successful communist state,mainly because in a true communist state,there will be enough equality that the need for government will be obsolete.Let me also ask you this,name me one successful purecapitalist state.

Maoism is a deviant from Marxism, the main difference being struggle of the agrarian countryside rather than the industrial urban forces. Maoism was designed to be a combination of Confucianism and Socialism, a so-called third way between Communism and Capitalism. I'm not sure to what you are referring to as Maoism, but I'm sure it can likely be better described as Marxist due mainly to the fact that Marxism is better known to this audience and the differences between the two are subtle.

Can someone give me a list of successful communist countries? And don't say Canada is because they are able to have peace. They have that peace and freedom of speech because if anyone attacks them, we get so much oil from them, that we will rush to their aid in a heartbeat. Please, someone tell me, so I'm not so fearful of what is to come of our country.

I'm seeing many parallels between this video and what's going on in our country today. It seems that more and more people would rather have a sense of security (true or false not withstanding) than the ability to make life better for themselves or people around them. I've heard people say this is a bunch of propagandic bull, but what this cartoon said might happen was exactly what happened to Russia after their communist revolution.
