Ok - here is the basics.
Allies - Russia, US and Britain - FACT
Axis - Germany, Japan and Italy - FACT
France was captured by Germany. The French resisted - the Allies helped them. We stormed France - Much of the war was fought there.
The 3 countries of each team were the major players in the war - FACT.

france,polen and britain was allied in ww2 later us joined them becuse a german submarine did attack convoys of us ships.
you got right about japan i they where allied with nazigermany. Russia did not allied with britain or us i think they just didnt bother even if they had a comon enemy.
