david bowie is so awesome. nirvana sucks for covering this song, all they did was replay a perfectly good song, and i say replay cuz they DIDN'T CHANGE IT AT ALL, kurt should have just said, i recommend listening to this song by bowie instead of stealing his credit for a song that is amazing. nirvana sucks, long live BOWIE

Thats just not true, the Nirvana version has the exact same arrangment as the original, whereas Hendrix changed up dylan's arrangement to make a version that was better from a musical prespective. The only difference between bowies and nirvanas is that a different person singing it. Therefore it only comes down to whose voice you like more, since artistically it is the exact same.

Someone else's masterpiece? I think it is a pretty mediocre song by Bowie's standards. And Nirvana's version is boring and unimaginative. It doesn't add anything to the original.
