They started from a base score, like an 8.6, as long as they did certain required elements.
Then, they got bonus for doing higher rated skills, like +.1 for D elements, +.2 for E...which were added to the base score up to a 10.0.

You are wrong because in 2004, we used old system. She scored very high at that time

The real winner is Valeri Liukin, who became the new Bela Karolyi. He shows no sign of stopping considering that Rebecca Bross, who goes to WOGA, won the 2007 junior nationals.

She just missed out on the floor finals. She got a 9.500 in the qualification. The last spot went to Mohini Bhardwaj with a 9.525. |
