okay uh dude. The reasonwhy people like him so much is because he IS different, note key word; DIFFERENT from Lil Wayne. Lupe raps are actually raps, not about Lolli pops, and Pop Bottles, no one can relate to that except a 5 year old in a candy shop...with Lupe, people can relate to him because he says it how it is. And if no one could understand him they wouldn't listen to him. He has a way higher vocabulary than Wayne.

This is my guess: They've been listening to so many songs about drugs, women, money, etc., that they now thing Lil' Wayne is the best rapper in the world. Which means now they can't understand Lupe's lyrics which, I bet, makes them think only about the fact that he doesn't talk about drugs, women, money, etc...
