A superb video, olliedann. Nice one mate. I seen many, many Granada Night Time, as from the North West, but it's great to see a clip of a Thames Night Time Junction as well, with the in-vision announcer, whereas Night Time for Granada was done by the Granada announcer, and was for a number of regions, we got the little music and the cat, which was great anyway, but nice to see a different setup for Thames. Richard Bath was the Newsreader on the end of the News. Thanks again olliedann.

Robin if you loked at the top, you would see that it WAS 4th January 1990 when this was broadcasted.

Do you have any Golden crown adverts? One has a dragon whos invited to make toast & the other where the king has a picnic & the cow swallows his mobile phone. There both animated so I figured you might have them since you have that ad with the dragon gurgling.

Not quite 1989 - I think this must be from the early hours of Thursday 4th January 1990, back when it was genuinely believed that Milli Vanilli sang on their records and when a decent number of Americans apparently took Poison seriously. Willie Rushton does the v/o for National Savings of course, but the Partylines ad is just about the worst I've ever seen for anything.

Absolutely fantastic video. The Thames announcer there is Evadne Fisher. Casey Kasem was also the man who voiced Shaggy in Scooby-Doo.

Afraid that was the way it was originally recorded. I was annoyed with that too.
