Listen people,we shouldnt even be comparing Roger and 2pac because Roger is in a class of his own,he's the "originator"..there's no basis for comparison.I luv pac,he did his thing at the time but to be honest-"you can't touch this!!"

Man it's years since i heard this song.I had Zapp and Roger California love on tape back in 1987 when Roger recorded this version.I remember he released this exclusively,and very few copies were made until 9 years later on his greatest hits.I was in Trotwood where he recorded this and Dale Degroat who's on the second verse told me it was too good to be released at that time of hip hop in the 80's,it was way too fresh..He gave me the tape exclusively though and i haven't heard this in 10 years!
