What solved would probably a ban on exports. Egypt after all has the most productive land in the world, a major exporter of grains.

becuase America is fair, it doesnt treat its poeple the same horrible way Egyptian aauthorities treat egyptians. I am an egyptian born and raised in NewYork, I love America but in the same time I wish Egypt would be a better place to live in, and return to being the most civilized nation in the world like the Pharouhs had it.

If wheat has to be imported to keep up with demand that becomes a problem. The price of oil is around $64 a barrel let us hope it continues to drop.

How come your people have no sliced breads. Do you all expect to eat fresh bread from bakeries. They are cheaper to mass produce for the population at competitive prices.
kusari86 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
the bread is there , but the price is to high . This is a problem due to the purchasing power of the Egyptian pound. At 3:54 the reporter explains that other commodities have also gone up , not just bread.
