This is the first video performance I have given using my new Boss RC-50 looper. For this video, I am using a Godin xtSA guitar fed into a GR-33 guitar synth which is then looped by the RC-50. I hope you enjoy it!

You can also do deep nice ambient drone songs with just a delay pedal with long delay like the BOSS DD-20 or the incredibly affordable ZOOM G2 (5 seconds !), and maybe just anotother delay pedal (like an analog ARTEC) for shorter times note delays. check out some of my drone experiments at ericsaliege dot org

This is pretty intense! I like you playing piano on the guitar. Awesome.

The RC-50 has the capacity to loop three stereo phrases - add to this the ability to overdub onto said phrases and you can understand how it is done. Regards, Darren

HI Darrin...nice work. I too have both the Roland GR33 and RC-50 ,but how did you do several loops of different patches on the GR33, becasue I have tried, and as I understand it....its not multi timbral....meaning it can only play back one patch in real time....at a time. Am I missing something? Please help...thanks man....Please post a comment here.

You can do stuff like this on a small budget - there are many software loopers out there. Check out the Looper's Delight website for more info about looping.
