Hey, in January 2009 it's Macworld, and I have a hunch (and I think I'm right) that Apple will be upgrading their desktops with Core i7 chips from Intel.
It'd be cool if Macs used XDR DRAM. It's much better than DDR2 and even DDR3. It's more expensive though. Sigh...

There was no G6, but there is the IBM POWER6 chip. Very fast chip, but sucks up a lot of electricity.
