The guy on the piano is indeed Jackie Coogan who played Uncle Fester on the Adams Family TV show in the 60s.

To be honest with you, i can see what the poem Is getting at. She's not glorifying in the demise of society. There's another important message in the poem, simple 'Get a fucking life', look at your life and the people around you, you'll find it's all a crock of shit! Wake up and smell the coffee!
THINGS ARE GOING DOWN! Tomorrow is a FLAKE. Tomorrow is a FAKE. THE VACUUM THAT IS YOUR PATHETIC LIFE. Racing to the moon and for what?

The name of the poem is "High School Drag," written by Mel Welles, and performed by Phillipa Fallon. It's very cool.

It takes a few absorptions, but the poem casts light on a new idea (for me, at least), which is that poetry creates a world within its words, casts in this case a pall upon the nightmare of the ordinary. it's like swallowing life in big gasping chunks, a duck as in foie gras. Something discordant in her speech and the delight of this gorgeous brunette bringing her arms up or snapping her fingers, works on the two levels of hell and high water.
