This was great cartoon. Like other japanese cartoons of this era it had sexual undertones - the villain (Big Cheese) use to cross dress and then hit on the other male henchmen.

The show debuted in 1990-91, and was usually on FOX. Back in those days I saw many other channels air repeats.
