It is not good to let your chinchilla get wet, they have so much fur if they get too wet they can be suffocated.

Snakes. Chinchillas are to fluffy to eat so they don't really enjoy eating them.

It take a lot of time. But chinchillas aren't really the cuddle buddies people think. Some chins just don't like to be touched, plain and simple. And some don't mind. Just don't tower over them or make odd noises. And when it time for them to run around, just sit there and they will eventually use u as a climbing mechanism. that's all u can really hope for.

hey your chinchila looks like my chinchila! Mine is a male and his name is Felix! I think Felix is different from other chinchilas because everytime the sparklers goes off out side when he is having a free time out there he runs and jumps trough the water, its funny! I need to tape it some time! And my other chinchila just watches him like hes is crazy! lol

i got 2 female chinchillas today and im afraid they wont bond with me! they are each afew months old! will anyone tell me if they will ever come up to me and say hi and go back to play?
