No sir, it was recognized as part of China since the Manchu Qing, then it was inherited by the ROC which later was succeeded by the PRC. Do you want to play "history" with me, it would be my pleasure. Don't worry, I'm anti-CCP, so I would give you historical and lawful facts. By the way, it was not 1959, it was 1950. What happened in 1950-1951 was very different from what happened in 1959. Maybe you should learn your own history?
