@asdffd
My father often listened this music and Rupert and when I heard the song, I fell in love with it. I just like this kind of mysterious music and singers like Pink Floyd, Rupert Hine, Leonard Cohen, etc...

Good call. This sounds a lot like Cy. Hmmmmm. Wonder if that's why I always liked this song so much- sounds like The Fixx.

Wow. You're 15 and you know Rupert Hine? How does that happen?! I mean, most of us who grew up in the 80s and were into the music don't even know Rupert's name. By the way, are you familiar with Bill Nelson? If you like Rupert I wonder if you'd dig him. Anyway, pretty cool that you dig Rupert.

Isn't this the best song you've ever heard? I'm 15 years old but I think this song is fantastic, never heard better! Long live Rupert Hine!

I still remember that! I was already a fan because the KRO or VPRO played his previous album Immunity quite a lot then.

Don't know if anyone noticed, but that's Fixx drummer Adam Woods with the blonde hair, dressed in black. I wonder if the chorus in this song influenced the way Cy Curnin sang "One Thing Leads To Another"..very similiar. Anyway, great stuff!

After his album "Waving Not Drowning" came out Hine had about 15 minutes airplay on a late night radio show with dj Ad Visser in the Netherlands. 3 songs. After that I've been digging through every record shop to find his records. I found all of them and they're all jewels. Not one excluded. This is one of the most underestimated, original, talented and renewing artists / producers / textwriters ever!

Rupert Hine: Excellent artist, and ugly as sin!
