The 2005 Lotus Elise price depended on what options you got. Base price with NOTHING extra was around $39,000. With all the options, it was around $50,000. Monthly payments depend on your down payment and interest rates.

I have no idea! :) It could be zero, if you pay cash for it.
Payments depend on how much you kick in for a down payment. MSRP for a 2004 STI was $32,000. I believe the new one is closer to $38,000.

Engine braking, aka "compression braking," is when you slow the car down by shifting into a lower gear and letting the clutch out (with no throttle applied).
