"Crooked rain..never heard of em" Im just going to assume you arent joking, Crooked rain crooked rain is an album from Pavement. You are still at the age where the formula rules. Anything that sounds different or progressive sounds bad to you. Once you get a bit older and once you get tired or the same old rahashed garbage you will start to discover more creative music.

Crooked rain..never heard of em. wikipedia itself states that it influenced such famous artists as deftones, MCR, and nelly furtado. here is a quote from rolling stone, "Smashing Pumpkins' music is distinguished from most other grunge rock in its incorporation of the high production values, ornate arrangements, and melodicism of such '70s bands as Boston and ELO". There is passion and art in their music this song is meaningless and hard on the ears. not to mention boring..

Rolling Stone magazine named Crooked Rain Crooked rain as the 2nd most influential album of the 90's. Smashing Pumpkins never influenced anyone, just teenage kids who didn't know there was better music out there. Boring formulaic bs.
