The ultimate goalscorer, Gerd Müller. Undoubtably the best striker of the 70ies. Statistics 1964-1979 Bayern Münich Regionalliga Süd: 26 games, 33 goals Bundesliga: 427 games, 365 goals European Cup: 72 games, 66 goals 1979-1981 Ft.Lauderdale Strikers NASL: 78 games, 38 goals 1966-1974: German National Football Team: 62 games, 68 goals 2 World Cups, 13 goals Titles: 4x Bundesliga Champion 4x German Cup Winner 3x European Champions Cup 1x Intercontinental Cup 1x Cup Winners Cup 1x World Champion 1x European Champion 7x Bundesliga Topscorer 2x European Topscorer 1x World Cup Topscorer 1x European Championship Topscorer 3x Eurochampionscup Topscorer 2x German Footballer Of The Year 1x European Footballer Of The Year A lot of people like to question, if the great players of the 60ies and 70ies would still be that good in modern days football, since the game today is more athletic and tactially more diverse. Look at this compilation. Would anyone question, that Müller would still be one of the top strikers today? He problably would'nt have the same goal record, but he would undoubtably have one of the best records in the game. Music: Black Sabbath - T.V. Crimes & The Sign Of The Southern Cross

I totally agree. So many players with more fame than him, that in my opinion don't come near. Best, Charlton, di Stephano to name some.

Best striker in my opinion of all time.. his goal scoring record is outrageous. He was the ultimate 'fox in the box'. He kinda gets overshadowed when talking about the greatest of all time.
