I think the main obstacle that Hyundai faces is people's prejudice against the brand. Still many people disparage Hyundai and associate it with low-quality products. Overcoming this obstacle, for Hyundai, is going to be difficult and may take long.

They actually lowered the weight to 3300 pounds for the 4 cylinder model. The price is NOT $30K. The 4 cylinder starts at the low $20K.

You are so old-school....and not in a good way. Hyundai makes great cars now, it just takes some people a little while to catch up. It's not a crap name....you're living in the past.

it looks so secondary. infiniti g37 was the aim, i guess. but so far, hyundai did a great job in past few years on the way to making some kind of pride of ownership for their cars, and that is quite respectible.

according to wikipedia. its supposed to start at 19,000 and the v6 model with 306 hp at 25,000. sure hyundai had its faults in the past but you gotta give them props for turning a new leaf and stepping up their game to become a leader in the automotive industry.

Lexus used to take design cues from Mercedes Benz, Honda too. In fact all Japanese get some styling from European brands. That is just the way it is the auto industry. Cars will always look like each other. Good job Hyundai!!! 5 stars!

Hyundai has come a long way, just like Honda and Toyota. There was a time when they use to call the Accord a little rust bucket, a pan of bolts and a go cart. The Toyotas of yesteryear were considered junk. But they improved and so did Hyundai. This is a very impressive car. Score another one for Hyundai. I am buying one! |
