I see what you mean. At the same time, Wayne is just being himself, which is where he strays from those who are posturing. He also speaks to the listener and, to some people, has an engaging personality. 50 is not trying to do anything but get paid; Weezy gets his money, but he still appears on dozens of songs. Why? He loves doing it. He calls himself the best rapper in order to challenge these mainstream fools to step their game up, otherwise they're out of sales. 50's stagnant.
