You make good points and I totally agree with you. It's a shame that so many great musicians in the U.S. are not given due credit.

20 ans en arrière, il n'y avait pas YouTube. Il fallait aller au cinéma, Merci à gldave de faire partager cette vidéo à tout le monde. J'adore Johnny Winter.

I understand & agree with you.Since blues has been his lifes work, i'm sure it means more to him to have been inducted into the blues hall of fame. It just seems the rock industry has snubbed him for some reason, & i think it sucks.
Thanks for the comments and the great videos!

Great one-thanks for this upload. Saw him
in Chicago (70s). Awesome!

Johnny's the only white inductee at the Blues Foundation Blues Hall of Fame. Given the choice of having his name on a list of musicians at a museum created by a lame fashion magazine, or receiving and award based on his talent and body of work, what really means more?

I think it's a disgrace this man hasn't been inducted into the R&R hall of fame.Have you seen the list of those who have?I wonder if he's even been nominated? He's as good as they come & better than most. Doesn't make sense to me.
