GrazyArnie, you think the Allies had no concentration camps? After WW2 millions of German POW's were housed in open air concentration camps, open fields ringed with barbed wire, with no shelter whatsoever and no proper sanitation. To avoid application of the provisions of the Geneva Convention, which required that they be fed the same rations as US servicemen, their "legal status" ws changed to "Disarmed Enemy Conbatants" Search with the keywords "Eisenhower's Death Camps"

He is obviously an idiot. Italy before Germany. Or he confuses quality and quantity. The Kriegsmarine WAS much smaller than the other navies (with the exception of the U-Boats).

Oh but the soldiers of GOC were true heroes. First massive bombardments with artillery and air support. Wiping out everything in their way, civilians, cities, culture, life itself. Then a reconaissance mission if there is still resistance. If there ist, mass bombardment again. Heavy combat was unpopular for the average GI. American tanks were not allowed to engage against Tigers unless they had at least a 5:1 ratio. Without that moron Hitler the yankees wouldn't have even succeeded in Normandy. |
