Desert Storm. The Operation after Desert Shield. The first Gulf War 90 - 91 if I am right.
I don't know what an avionics specialist exactly does, but I have a lot of respect for everyone who served. Thank you for letting me know.
It is very important to be educated. Here one says: "Education is the remedy for ignorance"
I am very glad to hear that.

One never told me many details. But as I know he was in he french army for a short period, and was emprisonned when the Germans occupied France. After that he was sent to poland where he was forced to work.
It was when the war was already over, when he came back, and never told much to my family. So they couldn't give many details either. I really regret I didn't know him. |
