careful becky. hs insults don't belong here. and the fellow has a point based on how military recruitment in us anyway. it's pitched as oppty for personal growth, college tuition and to pad your resume. i'm from a military family w/veterans of 4 wars around our holiday table. military service is a death pact. the 'fine print' of recruitment says you could be called to hostile action. something like that. so iraq is a euphamism war, but people still die like they always have.

Heros ALL of them, every time i watch this it makes me think of what these men and women went though in there last serves, i myself have recently joined up for the army.
people often ask me... Why do i want to do it, i just look at them and continue walking, they wont understand... ever. thanks to this great country for giving me this wonderfull chance. |
