Joining the Americans don't know good music argument, a lot of Americans didn't know that 'Take Back The City' was by Snow Patrol. In fact most Americans only know of Snow Patrol because of Chasing Cars. Having said that, the Americans have some very good, but little known(in the UK) bands ie the Dashboard Confessional
