It seems to me that you can almost see the bullet come from the upper front and hit Kennedy in the front creating the exit wound in the back of his head.
There's a puff of smoke a millisecond before his head opens up, then the flash of the bullet.

IMO, the only option that makes sense is that Oswald could be linked back to the intelligence or the evidence would not lead to anything productive for the people researching the case. I think Oswald had help in at least the planning, but we will likely never know the truth. If there was a link to anyone besides Oswald that info has been destroyed. The only option the government felt it had was to blame Oswald and hope that our interest would fade.

Given the photo analysis techniques available today, wouldn't examination of the autopsy photos reveal that they had been altered?
Also, if the photos had been altered, why wasn't the 'new' wound in the front of the head that would be required if Oswald had done the shooting a lot more visible? You can harly see any damage in the front of his head, in the temple area.
