Personally I do believe most good guitar players can play andy mckee songs, but the part that makes their emulations different is the feelings that andy puts into his work, which in its own way is a talent, being able to put into music how you feel... anyone can copy but not everyone can create

yeah, the baritone guitar allows him to tune down low without fear of buzzing, using a high gauge strings on the baritone allows for a full rich deep sound. The sound can be emulated on a stanard acoustic, but to replicate this sound exactly you need a baritone with high gauge strings

Well, 'standard' in that it's the same intervals just transposed 5 semitones. I guess that's what they were trying to say.

-Standard: E A D G B E
-Ebon Coast: B E A D F# B
It's not because hes using a baritone guitar....
