oh man..when I first heard this song like...3 or 4 years ago I used to cry every time myself...I guess unfortunately I am desensitized to it now..haha....sooo beautiful and sooo haunting..you are sooo right

I agree, I adore Russian Dolls, it's really insightful I think. Especially when paired with The Spanish Apartment. The contrast between the mid-20s to the early-30s is amazing.

I don´t find Poupées RUsses an average film.
It´s an amazing portrayal of the people in their early thirties, their convictions, deeds, doubts and faults... and many people of that age identify themselves with the characters. I understand you may find it average, but personally I like this film very much

This is such a hauntingly beautiful tune. I feel like crying every time I listen to it. It's also in the closing scenes from the film Les Poupées Russes, an average film but with a lovely soundtrack.
