There's a difference between building your own vision with some elements from the past, and biting someone's riff and pinching a big Cleveland Steamer on it. BrianHogs, I cannot stand Kid Rock's version of the song. I mean, I think that it's kid on disgracing Warren Zevon's original version, because he doesn't sing to the song the same way. And I just think that what Kid Rock did was kind or ruing the song.

all music is influenced by they previous generation, all the 70s stuff is straight outta the 50's (led zeppelin etc.) at least kid rock is (somewhat) reintroducing the classics to this era filled with shitty songs.
