for the most part no, not for about the first 60,000miles then you need to replace the apex seals, but other that that they are very reliable.

it already works right... notice how rx 7s and rx 8s are amazing cars and have few drawbacks with so many pros. These engines are just as good or better than piston engines they just have different benefits

Love rotarys. So what they may not last as long as piston engines, there much easyer to rebuild.
