Europe was pretty much the backwards shithole of the world until the rennaisance, and the "discovery" of the new world. European expansion was motivated by profit, rennaisance curiousity, and a desire to spread christianity.

and europe has obviously declined..where are your huge colonial empires?? Western dominance is slowly eroding as countries like china and india grow more powerful. Africa was just fine before you guys came, sure u built roads, and brought technology but that was for YOUR people's benefit not theirs. The europeans could have cared less about the native people

All great civilizations rise and decline, the persia empire, the roman empire, egypt, are just a few examples. Where do you think all the gold used in europe came from AFRICA. There were great civilizations such as Axum, the swahili city states(the new york and honk kong's of their day), songhay, ghana, Cities such as timbuktu and gao were important learning centers where ppl from all over came to study. These civilizations were flourishing while Europe was in the dark ages.

Uit ervaring weet ik dat niet alle geschiedenisboekjes een goed zijn ;). De cursus die ik heb is gemaakt en samengesteld door mijn docent, tevens dokter in de oudheidskunde. Ik vrees dat jij een commercieel, politiek correct geschiedenisboekje hebt :p.

What a pathetic excuse. We never declined. Besides, how come they never did anything on worldscale. Sure, they dominated the even more inferiour black nations like the Bushmen, but that's about it. All great nation, the Chinese, Japanese, European, Middle-Eastern, etc expanded and kicked ass.

Everybody knows that most of the blacks are in poverty, but now there are whites in poverty too. Most whites still do live pretty well though,

Actually this vid is a lie, the vast majority of blacks in South Africa live in poverty, and Im sure the whites there live much better than the blacks
