Aboslutely ridiculous video. "What God wrought"?! Maybe these ABC morons should be giving a little info about the experiment Alex was the subject of, or the accomplishments made because of him, and not pushing their imaginary friends instead of giving credit where credit is due. Animal rights people, you're fighting in the wrong area. Plenty (PLENTY) of animals are kept in much worse condition than Alex was. He was in better conditions than pets, let alone other research animals.

Animals have an emotional intelligence beyond what most humans can understand or comprehend. I think anyone who's lived with one and is open to it will know that. I have a Congo grey named Zeus and he is so smart. Birds are such intelligent creatures.. Aww, dear Alex, RIP. Bought this book, it's so good, highly suggest it.
