Sure use anything you like, just so it doesn't look posterized and painterly, which is what surface blur does if you go too far.

Sorry, didn't mean to confuse you but you are incorrect. The regular healing brush does require the alt/option click to source a good point, which is plainly stated in the vid. I think you are confusing my tool with the Spot Healing brush, which I am NOT using. The Spot Healing brush does NOT require a manual sample. Note that this vid is using CS2 not CS3, where the tools are nested differently. |
