Ihave been watching the History Channel for yearsand it can,t compare to this clip. All these gadgets work from steam. Diesels suck ! Steam you can see how it works and those steam traction engins may be slow but they will crush and flatten everything in their way

Excellent clip, thank you much for uploading this. I've been to Rollag in 1984 and 2000 and it is no doubt the very best exhibit of its kind I've ever seen. Wouldn't mind paying a visit to my relatives near New Effington, SD which is pretty close to Rollag and seeing it a third time! Thanks again.

If anyone is interested in finding out info. about the 50btm. plow pulled a few years ago, I have photos in detail showing the hitch system and the number of men it took to operate, and the tractors used to pull it. It was a special event and once in a lifetime honor to be witness to its happening.
Just EM me anytime and Ill be happy to talk more about it.
Thanks

Thanks for the great clip. Ive been to Rollag SWMSTR alot of times now and am planning on going again this year. Its one of my favorite places to go and always look forward to being there. A few years ago I saw them pull a 50btm. plow across the field. I also have pictures of this if interested. EM me anytime.

It's great to see that American's get the same pleasure from old steam engines, traction engines, stationary engines and fairground organs that we do in England.

Naturebounds boyfriend:
Ive been to Rollog about 5 times now so far, and am planning on going again this fall, 07.
First you have to see the sparks show in the evening, then head over to the machine shed for local music which is the best way to end a Saturday night. I just love going here each year that I can. Camping is free, when you camp in an old hay field. I could tell you more and more. Bring your camera, and plan to spend the weekend at Rollog, MN. for the WMSTR.
