Herbert A. Philbrick hosts this amazing anti-Commie propaganda film from the 1950s. Philbrick was a salesman who was recruited by the FBI to infiltrate the Communist Party and report back to J. Edgar Hoover. After the FBI pulled him out in the late '40s so he could testify in a Smith Act trial (the verdicts of many of which were later deemed unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court), Philbrick wrote a book about his experiences hunting Commies.

Definition of communism: A branch of fascism(nazism and absolute monarchy being the other branches) in which all means of production are monopolized by the communist party and its leadership, surplus value is exploited from the working class by the party using forceful means, human rights minimalized or annihilated completely, inequality maximized by enforcing poverty of the workers while party members prosper;its final stage is pseudoreligious personality cult of the communist leader.

fine, forget the word capitalism and replace it with free market. do note that i think the State should prevent monopolies from forming; i support anti-trust laws.

In economic models Communism is far superior to Capitalism. However... When you involve actual human beings Communism just plain doesn't work. Sorry folks. Capitalism with all of its flaws (and there are many) is the only system that works. When tempered with a social safety net (Socialism) Capitalism helps the most people AND provides the potential for the highest standard of living for its citizens. U.S. does need a better social safety net...

how are to help yourself if the system you are won't let you stand on your own feet? Capitalism does not allow for competition, the idea is you maximize profit as much as possible, the best way to maximize profit is to monopolize. how is the bottom of the barrel suppose to work its way to the top when the top does all in its power from keeping the bottom at the bottom, thats where government comes in and says this monopolies need to be broken up so everyone has a chance.
