If you saw the web video, you would realize this is just a joke. Omar and Cedric are funny guys and the Mars Volta perform excellent live shows.

It's not really them. All of them are fantastic live as individuals, it's just nearly impossible to get a good enough sound guy to incorporate all the different sounds at ones.
