I took "thou shalt always kill" as a way of saying "Don't follow anyone's rules". I mean, why should you heed the warnings and guidelines of a guy that tells you to "always kill"? It's like the usual suspects, you enjoy the story until you're told everything that came before the twist is a lie/story for entertainment's sake.
