apparently you misunderstand what i meant by 'covering his behind' you didn't bother reading past my 1st sentence..i never said he did anything 'wrong' i 'did' say that he has a conscience un-like bush,etc... he is covering his ass by writing the book and bringing the lies and deception to light..possibly for his and his families safety..imho please read an entire post before you jump the gun and critisize some1 you actually agree with..peace.

He wasn't in meetings or an advisor. He dealt witht he media. We had bad information for the war and shouldn't have acted on it.

mcclellands' book is covering 'his' behind. one way or another. is he complicit in the deception...of course he is! but at the very least he has a conscience that was bothered by the bush/cheney lies and war crimes. over 4000 americans soldiers dead, the maimed and wounded, resulting from bush/cheney lies. hundreds of thousands iraquis' dead. most people with a 'heart' would be bothered by that and at some point..speak out. except for bush and company.remember cheney said 'so?'

How can one trust a dog that has turned on its master? And notice how all his argument leads to him saying "It wasn't my fault! I didn't know!" To not know such things while so close to the administration, Scott, you must have been the most monumentally naive human being on the face of the planet. Because everyone else (those of us who were watching anyway) had an idea of what was going on. Oh please. What a slimeball.

I definitely think Bush is a fxxxing liar about the war and he purpose misled the public as Scott McClenllan alleges. But somehow this guy hardly strikes me as someone who's sincere or even competent. All it shows me is that the whole Bush gang (maybe Powell is an exception) are liars just like their leader!
