I think maybe it was because she was trying to make it jazzy; to match the beat.
If you watch the whole concert, they take the jazz down, and it sounds like her normal lovely voice again.

mm boa sounds a lot better than her old lives. but her voice seems to be kind'a funny during lives. i like the album version better, but this is a good live.
