the movement and language should suggest total sex -- but they should be executed in a way that suggest how mechanical and inhuman this is for the woman who do this taxi dancing every night for a living

this is not right -- I don't think Fosse would have been pleased. among other problems, the piece should be performed (and originally was and is in the film as well) with stone cold faces. it's more fucked up and creepy that way. His style has been degraded to isolations, cheap humor, and "sexy" bodies

OMG!!!!! The one that says "hey good lookin, I like your hair"......I forgot her name but she's a Swing in Chicago on Broadway!!! She looks exactly the same!!!! She's old but she can move!!! lol!!! |
