"Christianity is about faith in the end"
That must be why Christians have their heads up their asses.

Christianity is about faith in the end, either you believe or you don't.

In Leviticus 25:44-46, the Lord tells the Israelites it's OK to own slaves, provided they are strangers or heathens.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

eddieindahouse, slavery,70 percent of the world was slaves B4 Christians, not racial but a way of life. There were no safety nets for the unemployed s it could not be changed quickly. Slaves not because of color or race, some sold themselves into slavery because they could not pay debts or support familys. Some chose to be slaves to survive, criminals were enslaved. choice but by oppression. The plagues God poured out on Egypt showed Gods feelings on racial slavery and oppression

but the thing is, how do we know that Christ is the right way? How do we know that anyway is the right way? I believe that a man really existed who was a rabbi, had some great ideas and was persecuted for his beliefs. I believe that this man is who you call Christ. I don't believe that he did everything that is entailed by the word Christ.

Just because I don't agree with Obama means that I like Palin either, I believe that she messed up McCain's campaign a whole deal, I mean her interview about economic issues was a disaster.
